I need help deciding what wheels to get for my rex. I know I want black or bronze in 17's. I'm looking to spend around 1500 for wheels and tires. Any suggestions and places to buy would be greatly appreciated. Ive been looking at 5zigen fn01rc, rota torque, tarmac 3, and enkei rsv feel free to suggest other wheels.

I have the Enkei RSVs, and love them. I almost got them in anthrcite, but went with the hyper silver instead.

I got mine for about $1100, with tires mounted and balanced, and I got them in 18's. You could get the whole package for les than $1000.

I've recently started to like chrome.. a LOT. Yes, you heard me right, chrome on a WRX. A picture is worth a thousand words.. but I found 6.

Wow, I never thought chrome would look good. However, the Platinum Silver color from Subaru is one of the brightest, "blingingest" silver colors I've ever seen. Real deep, bright flake. I have a silver wagon, and am probably going to go with gold wheels, but that sedan looks super fresh. I need to paint my sideskirts now, like today... :D

Haha, well, I have seen one full chrome wheel I liked. Also from Cali.

It says what kind of rims those are if you read more. The problem is they are an offset of +40... which is REALLY low. However, he claims to have no clearence problems. You will never be able to upgrade your brake calipers with those rims though.

Really? I have no experience with them so I don't know. I just see them on really expensive cars so I figured they were sweet.

Volk Racing hands down FTW!!!! IMO anyway.

Hey Stallion, you said you got 235's on 18' x 8"? How much do you have the car lowered and what are you using to lower the car with? Any rubbing problems?

Oh one more question? What offset are the Tarmac's?

I honestly have no idea how much the car is lowered. I can measure from the apex of the fender to the ground and give you the measurements some time tomorrow or sunday. I have MR coilovers and there is no rubbing issues. Yea theyre 18 x 8 with 235/40 and an offset of 48. Im getting an allignment sometime next week but honestly i love how they handle and look and like i said no rubbing issues.
