most ppl here recommend the helix uppipe/downpipes. They're cheap and high quality. You can get them with or withouta cat in the downpipe. Both are the same in terms of legality/warrante/inspection. It's a complete farse that having one cat as opposed to three is anymore legal than zero. Still, if you're enviornmentally concious, a catted downpipe does keep the grass greener... maybe.

 

I'll suggest the Tsudo uppipe/downpipe, also fairly cheap and a great quality product, if you remove any cats it's going to be illegal. I have the the HKS cat-back with tsudo up and downpipe (no cats). only regret is its not as loud as i thought it would be. cruising down the road its not much louder than stock, the turbo sounds nice too with the exhaust.

 

thanks for the input. If i get this right, you mean to say that there are 3 cats within the car. Exhaust, uppipe, and downpipe? You only need one to be street legal?
