HELP! TXS UTEC Stage 1

I recently purchased a UTEC Stage 1 and installed the ABC... I turned the boost to match the amount stated in the manual at 4500 RPM. Now everytime I shift from 1-2 and 2-3 and sometimes go TPS% 100 in 3rd I get 1-12 knocks for one logger line before it lows the timing. I have a Perrin CAI, HKS SSQV BOV, and the ABC/UTEC. I was wondering what I should do to remove the knocks, I've always run 93 octane, and in the last tank added an octane boost to try and remove the pre-det. Any advice or help would be greatly appretiated. If you would like you could give me a call at 540/239-2703 (ask for Julian).

-Thanks...

P.S. I've tried lowering the boost to just 14PSI as well as lowered the timing 2-3 through the 3500-5000 range without any luck (the latter of the two removed the knocks from 6-12 to 1-3)...

-Thanks Again!

1- try raising fuel psi
2-less timing at higher boost
this is what i would do if i had my old haltech, im not to familar with tx utec, can you increase pulse width of injectors? if not get a adjustable reglator to raise psi, hope this helps.

yes, but its made for a stock WRX (stage 1) I can raise the fuel however its already running extremely rich... I could retard the timing more however I don't want to retard it to much (already -3 from factory stage1 setting).... Any other suggestions? You think still having stock exhaust would have anything to do with it? (Stage 2 removes the exhaust)..

thanks

dude your going to have to play with it, trial and error, thats what it takes, just try taking more timing away at high boost only, how do you know your running rich? do u have egt gauge, whats the highest temp, so far under load???
