I suggest PB Blaster to lossen it up. After you let that sit, get a nice big wrench and yank on it, hit it with a BFH if necessary.

 

ok now i think i took all of the nuts and bolts to remove the dp but the thing wont come off. Do i have to seperate the midpipe and downpipe for it to be removed becuase this thing just isnt budging???

 

You shouldn't have to. Make sure you have everything unbolted where the exhaust mounts to the body. It might take a little force, I know mine did.

 

but one of the hangers (the one where the new downpipe bolts to the body) wont come off the hanger. I mean i got the bolt off but from the design of the hanger (reminds me of a J shape), it wont come off the body. It seems like i have to take off the midpipe to remove the whole pipe. does this make sense?

 

could someone help me by telling me where the lower heat shield bolts are located. I think it might be possible i forgot to remove one. I know there are three but i took off so many bolts today i just lost count

As for the brace that you're speaking of, it just takes some prying to get it to move. Along with the "BFH", you should also have a "BFS" as well. ROFL

I had one of those bolts that wouldn't budge no matter how hard I tried. I had the wrench on and my feet were up against the wall, my body in the air pushing as hard as I could and it wouldn't move at all. My dad came out and took a huge wrench to use as a leverage bar, it came off like nothing. I felt stupid.

 

this stupid thing just wont budge. I dont know what to do ive been working on it for an hour and i cant get the midpipe off the hanger

 

spray some lube on it and let it sit for a hour or so.. spraying it every 10-15 minutes...
