So I recently pulled the engine to freshen everything up... Long story short now I have a bit of a misfire. But not enough to throw a code. Just enough to idle rough, break up under boost, and occasionally smoke (smells like unburned fuel).

I'm thinking it's a spark issue. I installed a set of NGK G-Power plugs that I gapped at 0.031". Is that gap too big? I'm at 17 psi. Or maybe those plugs are too cold or hot?

I don't know for sure that it's a spark issue. Because I also installed a catless downpipe without a tune so maybe that's throwing my air/fuel mixture off.

Any help is appreciated. I'm not new to Subies but am definitely new to this issue!

The passenger side engine-to-frame ground strap was corroded and broken. I replaced that and all the issues are gone. Runs smooth.

I guess these cars need their grounds!
