Smoking Engine

Hi all, looking for some advice or possible tips to solving my engine problem. I've got a 2004 WRX and its got about 180k miles on it. The engine has had work to maintain everything (pulleys and belts) but now there's an issue with some smoke. Brought it to a few shops and it seems to be an oil leak, but they can't tell from where exactly. One thing I did get confirmed is that there is a small hole in the cat converter. The picture attached shows where the smoke is coming up from.

Has anyone come across something like this?
