Hello! I have been stumped on what I should do for a while so I figured this would give me a little more info on what may be the best option? I currently own a 2006 Subaru wrx with 186000 miles and the motor hasn’t been holding oil or wanting to start and stay running for a while. I have been stuck between getting the motor rebuilt or just trading it in for a newer year WRX? Does anyone have any recommendations? Biggest issue is I currently have a loan on the WRX I currently own sadly. Thanks

Get rid of it, it will become a money pit, start over with a newer one. I did the whole rebuild the engine then the trans then, then.... It never stops. If your miles were lower it would be different advice. But my 2002 I did the fix everything route and regret it.
