I am in the market for a used car and recently came across a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek with a 2.0L DOHC B4 engine. The title status of the car is listed as "salvage". The price is $15,800. I am considering purchasing this car but I wanted to reach out to the community for some advice.
I have done some research on the car and it seems to have good reviews for its reliability and performance. However, the salvage title is making me second-guess my decision. I understand that a car with a salvage title has usually been in some sort of accident or had some other significant damage.
I would like to hear from anyone who has had experience with buying a car with a salvage title. Did you encounter any problems with the car down the road? Did you experience any difficulties in obtaining insurance or getting the car registered?
