Hey all, I have a 2005 WRX,
I have this issue going on where when I go over the littlest bumps, or literally go over a small rock in the road, I get a rattle sound, also my steering wheel shakes, and it usually pulls to the left...
Now, I have owned several wrx's, 2 2003's and now a 2005, but I have never experienced such issues with the 2003's.
I am being told that it may be my struts because the shocks are blown, but others are saying that it is likely my steering linkage, and some have said it's my sway bar...
I have lifted the car and I checked to see if I could wiggle anything and everything seems solid... so I am at a loss on where to begin.

Any help is appreciated. :)

Two things to check... the first is bent front end components... end links, ball joints, especially tie rods. Usually when you have a pull to one side, it's a bent tie rod.

Second... have your steering rack looked at... it's more rare but can be an issue in that age car... oil leaks can cause rack issues.
