You don’t need a tune for an fmic... your not changing the amount of air coming in your changing the location and getting rid of some heat soak. The only thing you need a tune for is the CAI because the factory airbox won’t fit anymore. So if your running cobb and you go fmic the only real tune you need is the stage 1+ or stage 3 if you have the upgraded 1050x fuel system.
This is not correct.
Get a tune. Any tuner worth anything will tell you to get a tune for a front mount. It’s very simple. Colder air is denser air. A front will out perform a top mount all day. The intake air temps will be cooler and denser.
Subaru’s are finicky don’t cheap out or your going to blow the thing up.
