Alright so my question is what are some cheap upgrades I can do to add hp to my wrx hatchback, I’ve looked on the internet and have found a few things but noting direct, I’m not worried so much about labor, just parts, thank you! I’m also not trying to spend more than $1,000, I know it’s a low budget...

Getadomtune Cylinder 4 Cooling Mod first. Then make sure your oil is full. Seriously. Use the Tokyo Roki black OEM Subaru filter, or the OEM Mazda RX-8 one - basically the same including pressure relief valve rating. Only larger capacity, which is better anyway.

Performance wise, Cobb Accessport for Stage 1 map, so no lean conditions on the stock tune. Can pick up used for $400-$450 all day on forums like NASIOC.

Others will chime in with more I’m sure.

Get shifter bushings as well as reverse stop mount I think it’s called. An air oil separator was my first mod there’s plenty of good brands. A master cylinder brave is good as well as a pitch stop mount
