Ever since my boss bought his wife a Honda Accord V6 (automatic) he was bragging about how fast it was and it would take my car. He obviosly isnt that big of a car guy or he would know. I parked right next to him headlights to headlights before we starting working. We started talking about racing, and he actually wanted to. We went outside and he showed me the V6, I was like, "thats pretty sweet, you wanna see the 4 cylinder thats going to rape you?" So I showed him and all. I dont think he knows what a turbo is. So later that day I saw him come back from lunch and park next to me again, so I walked outside and he revved (I think he did, I could barely hear him ROFL . I asked if he wanted to run real quick, he said yeah.
I got in my car, cold engine, frost on windows. He pulled up and said lets go, I told him to let me get warm first, so I did two laps around the parking lot, car was still cold as hell, and then I said lets go. We agreed for him to follow me down RT 32, so we pulled out of our parking lot and at like a 5 mph roll we both gunned it. He actually kept up with me till the middle of 3rd gear, then I slowly started to pull from him. Once I knew I won I turned around and turned my tv on for him ROFL . Then we pulled into the gas station and talked, he said "damn, thats a quick little 4 cylinder." On the way back, he was in the lead. we didnt get to top speed(other cars) but I stayed right on his bumper the whole time we were goin at it.
Now I have something over his head if he makes me mad. I can tell his wife he was racing in her brand new car. She would own him... lol

Yeah that sucks, you must have one of the nicest, if not the nicest, cars at your school.

How did you like the dp after you installed it? Did you notice a bigass change in power?

I have a turboback exhaust coming HOPEFULLY Friday, so i can put it on on the weekend, I cant wait.

Also this week Im going to paint my stock rims, probably gunmetal, and Im bring my car to Great Scott in Norwich to do all my car audio, video, and tint my windows.

By the end of this week my car will be so much sweeter, I cant wait. Ill post some pics when I get everything done.

Yeah, Ive gotten used to the power just from going from an escort to a WRX. Im looking forward to getting that smile back on my face when I drive hard. Its gone away now, Im too used to it. Im trying to sell my old car, so I can buy some more shit for the WRX because I am so broke right now. I need to ask for a raise, too. I make $14, but, Im gunna ask for $15/hour.
The only thing keeping me above my bills is all the overtime I put it. The last two weeks I worked 32 hours overtime at $21 an hour. So, thats always nice !Thumbs Up.

You got a cellphone? Ill give you a call next time im in Montville and we could go show each other our cars. :rocks: But, itll have to be after I get my exhaust.

Did the DP by itself make the exhaust any louder?

A downpipe, BOV, and rims are more special than what I have. All I have are two T.V's and a nice cd player, and a big dent. After I get done with this week I should have my Turboback exhaust, my stereo working perfectly, and my stock rims painted.

I just got done painting 2 of my stock rims, they came out SWEET! I want to use my brothers g/fs digital camera to take a pic and post it but shes being a biotch. Ill get some done when I do the other two tires tommorow. They are Graphite gray with metal trim. Man they took forever to do. The first two have some very minor blemishs that you cant see unless you get really close, the other two will come out better know that I know what Im doing. Its all very easy, just a time consumer.

Thanks, not a bad cheap mod. cost less than $20 for all the aircraft stripper, primer, paint, and clearcoat. If I had to do it again, Id buy some new wirebrushes because the ones I were using were old and they started falling apart and shooting little peices of wire at me. But that was only when I was holding the trigger as hard as I could and pushed down as hard as I could.
