About three months ago, I was taking a spin with my buddy. He was driving a FC RX7. WE were driving in a country road. Which is two lane and two way traffic. I was driving about 60% in the turns at the begining. At the largest angle turn. I drove my car to its limit. That was a turn about 100 degree, the speed limit is 25 mph. Its a right turn. AT the straight line before the turn I was driving like 85 mph at 4th gear. I was in the left lane and brake, heel and toe down to thrid gear. Turn in speed is about 50mph. Because that was a combonation turns so I stay in the inside for the next left turn. I use alittle bit of the LFB to enter the second turn, after I finish those turns I have to upshift so I guest my car speed is like 78 to 85mph. About 30 second later, I still dont see my buddy's car headlight. So I U turn and try to find out what happen. Then I saw him comming slow. He said " damm you was turning slow at the beginning so I was chasing you, who know you will drive fast suddendly. I turn in too fast and the car was oversteer, then spin out and crash." It was like his first time driving that road..........
I didnt do too much street racing or track racing(I dont have compitition license). But is that always happen. The car which is behind and he always want to pass the car which in front of him then cost him over drive the car and lost control? If I am behind I usually will wait until the leader make mistake. For example turn in too fast and having understeer then I will try to pass him from inside. And I always watching his movement.
