Nope it will make more power on an engine with more displacement. Not by much though, where they beat the 2.0L's by a lot is in the torque. Hp is usually pretty close.

Not necessary, I wouldn't waste money on it. Get a 3 port bcs after you go stage 2 instead, for much cheaper. Other mods look good, but stay with the stock BPV like mosc said.
