The local auto parts places might have the bulb condoms, if so you need 1/8" or 0.12" size...

If you are realy hard up you can order from a place like this...
$0.17 each in packs of 10...

The factory bulb condom is the wrong color & can be changed...
Gage removal isn't fun & requires you to strech & wiggle the gauge out of the pod...

Make sure you don't wrap it too tightly & when putting it all back you don't pinch any wires

Little boost gauge bright...

If you have the column mounted boost gauge on an earlier 2002 WRX you may notice that it can be a little dimmer than the dash lights...

Fortunately Subaru uses the negitive(ground) as the dimming...

Also you don't have to use the fancy connectors, I do recomend atleast soldering it in if you are going to hardwire it in to the system.

If you are not comfortable to do this...

Rubber floor mat slide fix

If you have a set of Subaru rubber mats & like to remove the stock floor mat on the drivers side the rubber mat will slide around in the thin stock carpet...
Take some tiny black "zip" ties or...
