There is a guy in the Pittsburgh area that put an '04 rear bumper and tails on his bugeye. Looks good and seems to work ok. If the '06 tails fit right into an '04/'05, then should be good to go.

IMO it's a bad look. looks like a step toward Nissan Sentra. The WRX had a different reputation than the other "Tuners" in that it was rugged, off-roading, toughness. The '04/'05 lost some of that...

Use whatever speakers you want...I have 5-1/4"s, but ppl also use 6-1/2". Same brand isn't necessary, but try to keep the wattage close. They sell spacers online that will make installation easy.
