I strongly suggest you stay away from 25 psi...

I strongly suggest you stay away from 25 psi until you figure out whats up tuning wise. you can be detonating like crazy.
CHECK IF PREVIOUS OWNER REMOVED THE MBC THEY WERE PROBABLY RUNNING BOFORE...

and most importantly BE COMPLETELY UP TO DATE ON YOUR MAINTENANCE. a compression test would be a good idea too just to be sure your stressing a tired motor :notgood:

just make sure you always have fresh quality oil (I run rotella t6) and make sure your not low and that will be all you need.!Thumbs Up

also fwiw don't port the td04. its just not worth the $$. upgrade to a set of sti pinks and the turbo makes pretty good power with a good tune.

$800 ia downright silly! lol I have a spare low mileage one I picked up for $50. I see them all the time. and a td04 is a SUPER reliable turbo so look for a used one on craigslist with no in and out...
