Ok, that makes sense. I was just worried because the suface isnt perfect thats mateing to the gaskets. You are right, highest rtv temp ivr found is 700, which is 200 too low if WOT temps are 800.

You are right Fidrat, I should have been more specific. For the 08+ models you need a tune for most everything. Earlier models are more forgiving.

Welcom to the forum! Thre STI is a great choice. Yes, you will need a tune to make her run correctly. Easiest way is with an accessport by Cobb. Its essentially plug and play.
