Summer/winter price swings?

Hi all,

Any of you have an idea how big the summer/winter price swings are? I figure prices go up in the spring and drop during the winter, but how big a difference is it? Trying to decide when is best to buy myself a roughly 2002ish WRX!

I don't know about WRXs in particular. However, used car prices generally will be higher around tax refund time. That's what I have learned from following some used car dealer owners and auction goers on the internet. I'm sure there are always exceptions though, regionally or otherwise.

Purely speculation, but I'd say prices stay pretty constant. Maybe most cars drop in the winter, but not one that is marketed to be great in bad weather.
