Nice picss man. I went out back of the local target the nite before I came here to MD for vacation. Had a blast. Rent a cop in a focus tried to catch me, lol. Didnt happen, but karma got me, I slid into a curb and bent one of my Rotas.

newtothegame: man, I feel ya on that one.. I had to replace my stock Eclipse GSX 10 spoke wheels a dozen or so times from hitting random debris and potholes. Those things were so weak. Good thing Rotas are relatively inexpensive.

mr04wrx: send some of that snow this-a-way, I'm dying out here on the right coast Got my snowboard roof rack all hooked up, just waiting for a nice snowy day to go out and play.

Man....that sucks, newtothegame. I tried the other night in a sleet filled parking lot and my car wasn't sliding that much. Not enough ice/sleet to get my blizzaks to cut lose. Heh...there was a decent amount of sleet to. Winter tires are doing their job apprantly.

Edit: This was done at 2 am and there wasn't a single car or curb insight. I'm not doing this with people in the lot. Just to make that clear.

Aww, I was so stoked to get to MD for some snow and fun, even though I dont have my car. But it stays there in WA. I will be back next week though. Mike, that pic is awesome.

Man show, Im also glad they are cheap, just hope I can find some place that will sell me just one though. Still looking.

Kirt, sorry to hear your tires work "too" well. I was in the lot by myself at first. Then the focus came, I just messed with him for a minute then I left, lol.

Nagy: What tires are you using?

New: LOL...mess with the fuzz and something always happens. Even if you get away. Sorry man, hate to hear the recent streak of bad luck.

studdless Firestone winterforces, I wanted the Blizzaks put i didn't want to spend the money, (I'm moving back to Pittsburgh in the summer.) I work at a tire and brake shop so I got a good deal on the set.

Hey NTTG, check out Wheels - Subaru WRX Performance Upgrade Parts - Mach V Motorsports . I was originally going to buy my wheels from them but got them locally for cheap. You could always check NASIOC to see if anyone is going to sell a Rota for you!

Tuner, thanks. I almost bought them from there originally before I had found an even better deal. That is the best so far. For some reason Im so afraid that the rim wont match (color wise) to my exisiting 3. Guess its a chance I will have to take.

how bad is it bent? you can get it straightened for under 100 dollars. We use a guy up here in Ballard and I've seen him straighten some seriously bent rims. as long as it is not cracked he can fix it.

Sucks about the rim! Snow has been great fun and I am surprised that it is still around!! Too bad here in Pierce County it has been raining pretty much all day! Now all the back roads have 6-10 inches of yuck on them! Really hard to drive in!!!

I just heard from my girl that its raining back there. Im still hoping there is some snow when I get back.

Mike I want to replace the rim, it is about a quarter of it covered in road rash now also. Im not sure the severity, but when it was on the machine, it was crazy looking when it was spinning. I just will get the rim instead of my Cobb intake/heat shield/shift knob that I was going to get for my Christmas present.

You guys rip it up thought while you got the chance.
