Finally tried out the Launch assist..

Well, I finally went out and tried out the Launch assist for the first time.. So I headed out to the Public access / Private drive so I could avoid traffic and kids.. All worked out but I really need to spend some time working out the settings... What do you think??

It only has traction issues when you have 400+ whp. Nice Shoaf...Does it help the launching of phobos? It looked like a good launch.

Yea, I have bigger rubber but my alignment is not 100% so I'm running my crap wheels/tires so I don't burn up the good ones..

I will admit it was fun to do.. LOL..

Very impressive... any plans to take that thing to the drag strip? I wouldn't mind seeing a video of a pass once you get everything dialed in.

I really want to but I doubt I will. There are a few things I'm afraid of since I'm a big baby with the car now... Believe me it took all I had to force my self to do the test run..

1 - I'll break something ( with my parts record it's not impossible at all)
2 - I'll SUCK IT UP BIG TIME and you guys will all make fun of me, It's been 7+ years since I was sitting infront of a tree..
3 - I can't bring myself to spend the cash
4 - My wife will not allow me.. LOL, JK. She is not happy with the idea but will go and video..

Haha, shoaf...some of that in understandable. You've broke plenty of stuff. So, I can understand why you'd be afriad of breaking more. You're house and redneck scaffolding are becoming a priority as or right now. LOL I just love that scaffolding. Save the good rubber and burn off the crap tread.
