im sure ill catch flack for it but.... whats the easiest way to waste a WRX? make is a drag car.

do you know what kind of lap times that thing could be turning on a street track, auto cross, or rally course for the same money?

a better question, do you know how much LESS money i would have to spend to make other cars faster in the 1/4?

its an achievement, don't get me wrong, but its also a damn waste.

True, although it would be very nice to easily spank many a car on the street and strip with a modded WRX, i'd much rather prefer to build one up for Autocross or Time Attacking... "Anyone can fire a bullet. Real men know how to control one."

I think NN's point is more that the WRX is about a lot more than just stupidly high power numbers...

From the Videos and Interviews that I've seen that car "Big Valley STI" is a hand full.. The last thing I saw was his first 9s run and he was breaking lose in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd on that track.. It's not always as some people think it is to go in a straight line.. There was a GT40 with some major add ons that was putting out 1500+ whp that was unmanageable on a strip.. Guy almost hit a wall..

No doubt. im not saying a monkey could get behind the wheel at do 9s 1/4 @ 150mph. but there is far LESS skill involved then doing fast consistent laps on a road course.

and a monkey could drag 90% of the cars you see at the track. just not this wrx, the gt40 you described, funny cars, ect ect.
