The subie couldn't nail the drift but love to see more cars like team orange drifting.
bitchn! the wrx is a waste of a good car, imho. the smoke is pathetic. one thing i love about hubinet and millin. they always have nice high hp cars that lay down some thick ass smoke.
Why do people try to drift in front or AWD cars? Doesn't make sense to me Then again, I've never tried it....just doesn't make too much sense when thinking about it.

probably because its a challenge or just to be different. i'm sure we would all try it if we had the chance...lol
there really no point in competitive drifting in an AWD or FWD car. but you can get better angle in a FWD car because the you have the front wheels to essentially pull you out of the slide. I remember one day i was driving around Seca in a duely truck checking for debris, i was about half way between turn 4 and 5 and i see Brian coming up fairly quick in a Neon. I had just hit the apex at 5 when i hear this ungodly squealing noise behind me, i look out the passenger window and theres Brian, waiving at me through the windshield as he passes me on the outside. i was so sure he was going to spin, the guy is pointing 90+ degreed to his direction of travel, and all he had to do was slam the throttle and it straightened right out. but, hes traveling so much slower then a proper RWD high HP drift car would. but it looks hilarious.
yup. well, its not HIS vet, but its the vet he drives. kinda sucks it broke that day in qualifying (thus the spin), but he was doing really good in practice.
