Stupid question: How is it you are running 9s but not clearing 110 MPH?

My car's stock specs are 13.5 1t around 114 I thought.

Oh, and what LC are you using?

What you see under my profile picture is a screw up....if you notice anyone on this website that submits a drag time it will display 9.999 as the time, but an accurate MPH. Something this site still hasn't fixed in years. I ran a 8.1 sec 1/8 mile and I'm using cobb LC downloaded stage 2 map. My signature below is my best time yet, but that was when it was COLD outside...

Are you also using flat foot shifting? I really want to run my car and see what it will do, but will probably have to wait until the transmission is done.

60 foot times were all 1.7. I've pulled 1.6's before, but the track was getting a little dewy so I spun a little more. Flat foot shifting (FFS) is part of the launch control download map that you can download onto your cobb ap unit, some people call it no lift shifting. Esentially this part of the download makes it so you can smash the gas all the way through the gears without redlining between shifts and still maintain boost....the download lets you set an rpm (mines at 6k I believe) that is your cutoff point when you push your clutch in when shifting....usually when you shift you lose ALL that boost you built up when accelerating, with FFS you maintain your boost by keeping on the accelerater and maintaining load for less lag/better acceration and ultimately faster times. In my opinion it makes a WORLD of a difference, the first time I used it I was hooked. Shifts are so much smoother and just plain better... it helped me run that 12.7 @ 109 which is a ridiclous time for an untprotuned stg 2 sti.

dude that was my first race with an evo, I was pretty nervous and WAY stoked to beat him considering with his mods he should have spanked me. He siad he had cams and all sorts of other shit and he had ran a 12.3 before so I was totaly expecting to lose. Then when I beat him the first time I think he was pretty pissed and wanted to race again and then he missed 2nd on the second race.

Thought I'de slide in a couple of new pics. I had the windows tinted at 30% and I got new tires and the BBS's powder coated.

looks good man. I have 30% on my car as well. It's not exactly limo tint but i think it's a nice medium between too light and too dark.

Nice runs. What RPM are you launching at? I wish Cobb had launch control available for the 2.0 liter.
