Perrin Endlinks Install on a Wagon

Since Gerlando sold his WRX and has no more articles to post himself, I'll take the liberty of posting this article for him - since he came over to my house to do the installation, and used my camera for the pics :)

Everyone knows that the rear swaybar on the WRX wagons could use some beefing up. Unfortunately, after beefing up that swaybar, there is still some flex in the factory endlinks. Here's a quick write up on how to install heavy duty endlinks - ours are from Perrin.

Step 1. Remove Old Endlinks
We started by unbolting the old endlinks. We were able to get to them without raising the car. Access to a lift would have been nice though. It's a simple matter of removing two nuts and sliding out the two bolts that hold the endlink on.

Step 2. Install the new endlinks
The new kits comes with steel spacers which help handling. We used our original nuts and bolts.

That's it! As you can see, this is a very simple installation. Tighten everything down and take a test drive. Double-check everything after a couple of drives.
