CSS Performance TMIC GROUP BUY !!!!

CSS Performance TMIC group buy!!!

Black TMIC
(please note that the white in the core is the sheet showing through)

SPECS

100 % Bolt on to FACTORY MOUNTING LOCATIONS
Doesn't sit crooked
Doesn't interfere with AC lines whatsoever
4 ply silicone couplers and stainless T-bolt clamps
Installs in less than 1 hr with basic hand tools
Tested to be fully compatible with COBB stage maps requiring an "sti or equivalent intercooler"
Size 20" x 4.5" x 11.5"
Advertised pressure drop less than 1 psi at 14.5 psi
Flow rating In excess of 800 cfm
Max psi unknown we have tested to over 35 psi with no leaks
Temp drop up to 300 degrees at 80 degrees ambient air temp
Intercooler you receive will NOT be stenciled

What makes this TMIC better and not just bigger? Here are some pics of the internal fin density of an "ebay" TMIC compared to the CSS TMIC. The added density puts efficiency through the roof without adding the restriction of the over-dense stock TMIC that is prone to heat soak.

Impressive! Good price too! Way to be up front on your group buy discount as well. I wish all vendors were as straight forward.

Question: What is the approx cooling surface area? Most big companies (APS, Perrin, etc) usually give it as a ratio over the stock IC.

I paid CSS via paypal $299.00 on January 29th and have not yet recieved my intercooler. Their account was allegedly phished and my payment was lost. They attempted to send a refund, but that never cleared. Either way I paid them $299.00 and have nothing to show for it. In addition, they don't reply to my emails. Has anyone else had problems with them?

A user has posted here complaining about this vendor which is against our rules. The reason I am deleting this post is because I feel that vendor bashing is not in our best interest. The user in question registered to this forum for the sole purpose of bashing CSS and it has been his only post. This is not a community member to me and gets no preferential treatment.

That said, this is a group buy thread and group buys are a part of the community. Those wanting to leave feedback (positive OR negative) directly relating to the group buy and their buying experience of the group buy, I support that. If you are a member of these forums and you participated in this group buy then we want to hear from YOU! Not some 1-post spammer with a clear agenda and no facts

mosc out.

Per his website

CSS Performance | Subaru Specialists

They are shipping them out now. I don't know when they put this up, but weird thing is, I can't find a phone # to call them on the website.
