Exactly, me too. i don't think you can gain any performance from your motor oil. it may lubricate better but that's about it.

Don't quote me on this, but I think I might have seen it at my local Wal Mart in large (gallon?) containers... if I had to guess, I would say that's probably the cheapest you'll be able to find it

I bought it by the qt last time I changed my oil for 5.25/qt. RP full synthetic.

i changed my oil last week with royal purple, definately never using anything else.
