A little advice

hey everyone. wow im so pumped that i found this on the forums here. im glad to see that there are a lot of subby owners here in COLORADO?
i just had a couple of wuestions for some of you if you could help on this.
well i just got an '06 wrx and i love this car to death. I traded it for a 2001 ford ranger with over 7" of lift on 35" tires. BIG DIFFERENCE!! especially power. this is actually the car i wanted before i got my truck. any ways.
i just wanted to see if anyone in here has done a lot of work on there car. i wanted to see how the front mount works here in the winter because of all the rocks we get from the gravel trucks durring a storm. how bad does that ding up your front mount IC and have you had any problems with the water spraying up into it? does that effect the performance at all?
i just want to know cause im looking to sup mine up to hopefully one day beat my dads vette only in my dreams.
also ill ask this a bit later but i would like to get some suggestions on this. where are some great places to get a pro tune done at once i get to that level and where is a good place to go for parts and junk. im in upper denver/broomfield/westminster area if anyone can help.
hope to see some of you all on the roads maybe in the near future.
THANKS for all the help.

welcome to colorado. im gonna see if my shop can fabricate me some kind of FMIC splitter something with louvers or vents in it that will still flow air but stop rocks. my last FMIC got hammered but they hold up alright. bar and plate fmic's are the nicest but hella expensive. what part of the city do you live in?

i live up in westminster/broomfield. Thanks for the input on the FMIC. i just wasnt sure if i should go that route or when that time comes just upgrade to a larger TMIC.
and the vette thing it would be fun if i could race my pops in his vette and win. god i would be sooo stoked. Any advice on parts places or a shop that ca protune these cars would be great news too.
AND not to be mean but i have lived in colorado my whole life but this is my first WRX and i plan on keepin thin one for a VERY long time.

TAKE IT EASY YA'LL
