Exclamation Huge Meet Late June *Updated**SIGN UP NOW*

Hello All,

This is already an Annual Gathering for a VR-4 Club but all are welcome to come. Right now we are looking at hosting it in the middle of June. Likely the third weekend, 14th-18th. Something like that. During the timeframe, we are planning on renting Bandimeire for a day as well as the police training track in Golden for a road course / autocross. We are hoping to get around 100 cars for the drags and set it up as a kind of Import shoot out, this should allow everyone as many runs as they want. There is a Hotel that all of us will be staying at, we rented out our local Drag Strip (www.bandimere.com), we rented a 1.4 Mile Road course in Golden Colorado, and we are having a mountain cruise with a car show.

Last as a follow up to my other email. We are looking at having a car show one of the days. I need to figure out which location would be the best. We will be staying up by Boulder this year, so I would like to find a show in that area (anyone know of a good location). Anywhere near Bandi/Boulder will work.

The last one we had this year in the Springs was a huge success and good times for all....

Here's Last Years Posting for it...

This should be fun as hell

Meet and Greet the first day

Drag Strip just for us on the second (looking at around $40 per car)

Road Course the Third Day (around $60)

and a car show on the last....

So far we have about 30 Subby's, 40-50 S Body's, 6 Supra's, and a handful of EVO's.
should be good times for all....we are getting some sponsors together right now to give out some goodies at the races.

Here is the sponsorship page link. Let me know if anyone has questions.

Basic info about the RMG can be seen on the home page, we are still finishing up the actual RMG site

Hey Nick, so if I read it right, there's a $45 registration fee, then entrants have to pay the $30 fee to enter the drag racing event, then another $20 for the road course, and then another $20 to enter the car show? So you could potentially pay a total of $85 to participate in all the events? Just wanted to make sure that was the case.

I don't think so...let me make sure about all the fee's....as I know it right now you only have to pay for the races. At least that is what it looks like when I signed up.

Sup guys. Just got a 02 WRX, and just registered. This'll be my first year at RMG with a car other then my VR-4. Kinda sad, but I am diggin the rex. If I can answer any questions for you guys about the event, I may be able to fill you in. It's a blast every year. I looked forward to last years more then my cruise to the Caribbean over Christmas.

Hey guys... I just bought my WRX a little over a week ago... I will for sure be at this event. Do any of you have any suggestions on driver training for road courses. I am quite inexperienced on the track and would like to get a little practive under my belt before modifying my car. It has enough power stock for my driving abilities and before increasing power and performance, I need to increase my personal performance. Let me know if any of you know of anything.

You don't have to take drivers training to have fun at the track....it would just help you times....you will however learn a lot about your car

the $45 registration fee is only for 3/S owners. Subie people only pay for the events they WANT to participate in.

If they want to show up for drags...it's prepaid $30
If they want to participate in the roadcourse...it's a prepaid $20
and if they WANT to enter and be judged in Unified Productions car show, they need to pay the $20 entrance fee (which is waived for registered 3/S attendees)
So if a subie (or any other non 3/S car) wanted to participate in all three they'd be looking at $70.

chevarian113, Nicks right. You don't have to be a pro driver to have fun on the course. There's no rule saying you have to go a certain speed.

I would recommend trying or just attending some SCCA events before hand. A road course is just a larger autocross course with other cars.
