Hey I am new to this forum and right now I live in socal but I am moving to Chicago in a month and wanted to know if anybody in this forum is out in that area . let me know whats up and how it is to drive out their.

Hahaha, I don't live there, but driving there sucks hard. But, you're from Cali, so you should be ok.

Oh yeah, no offense meant. I meant if you're used to people driving like jackasses and traffic backups, you should be ok. Chi-town kind of sucks to drive through.

Im about 30 mins south of Chicago. What part of Chicago are you going to be residing in? It is really not that bad here just watch out, not all but most Chicago drivers do NOT know how to drive in the snow. Its pretty bad as far as that goes. Other than that enjoy yourself.

I am going to be working at woodfield mall so i will probably get a place near the mall.
I have been trying to work on the car a little before leaving cali but i don't have alot of funds right now.

I worked at Woodfield for a long ass time. Theres a bunch of rice boys that meet at Streets of Woodfield every weekend (pretty much every night in the Summer). Nothing very interesting. It gets old real fast. There are a lot of rich kids driving their daddy's Ferraris.

hey , i was on dsmtuners and i noticed this one (wrxtuners) im from rockford . i dont have a subaru WRX yet , but im trying to get one. i hope i get it ... right now we have at home the subaru impreza outback sport edition , so if there is a meet up or cook out ... i ll check it out the forum

Chicago driving isnt do bad...im in and out of the city all the time....the highways are what suck...illinois has the worst road systems in the country....nothing but road construction...they fix the same roads at least once a year..hahah...but anyway..if your asking about driving in the city it isnt to bad...
