New to DC

Hey everyone

Im new to DC only been here for 3 weeks. Im wondering how many WRX drivers around here are on this fourm.

My cars getting fixed right now, but before the winter gets here it would be cool to orginize a drive.

i live in the baltimore area, but it's not a far down to the dc area. but as well my car is in the shop as well at andrewtech, but i'm expecting it back by next week. I'v been with out it since last august but it's only been in the shop for about 5 months, so i'm deff looking to attened a meet/drive.

This shop is located in Sterling, VA. Right near the Dulles airport. They specify in WRXs and STis. The owner is a great guy.

I'm in Frederick. I'd be interested in attending some random meets, but an hour drive (+/-) is about my limit.

KD1CA sounds good to me. Friday evenings and possibly Saturdays would be the best bet for me. Haven't seen too many people from around here on here.

Hey my bad i havvent been on here this forum is kinda dead for the mid atlantic area. i am on the NASIOC forum more and its a lot more alive. haha
but i need to fix my Clutch before i can meet up.

Look on the other forum alot more meet info and fun stuff like on the 19th there is going to be a big meet down in williamsburg

Anyone know any good shops in the area? I got rear-ended the other day and need to find a place i can trust to look the entire car over and fix it right. It doesn't look all that bad, but that is what i am worried about,a shop just trying to fix what is obvious and not everything. Hate dealing with this crap.

IAG Performance in Westminster, MD has an excellent Subaru body shop. Mike is the Collision Center Manager. I took mine there when I had some minor rear end damage from a fender bender. Results were absolutely perfect.

Guys up here in NE Pa go to IAG, all work I've seen is top notch.
And that quite the drive for us up here.

Awesome, I will definitely look into them. I still need to get a quote from insurance company, hopefully i can get that done this week.

Got my car back from IAG, everything was great! Definitely will go there again if need be which might be sooner than later. Literally picked the car up on Tuesday, on the way home from work today a RV 2 cars in front of me one lane over on I-95 kicked up a big rig tire that pretty much landed right in front of my car, had no where to go, no options to miss it was in far right lane, with construction concrete barriers to right. Tried to stratal it and did. Got home, and my front bumper is chipped and cracked a few places on top of marked up... Awesome! At quick glance nothing underneath seemed damaged but will have a better look later.

This blows!
