FS (NorCal): powder coated strut bodies for Koni inserts
Prepared struts from a 2004 WRX sedan. Will fit all 2002+ WRX Koni inserts. Have been professionally powder coated Koni yellow as indicated on Koni's website:
For KONI Sport it is a Cadmium Yellow, the same colour as the Sport shock absorber and defined by the RAL code 10-21.
Have never been installed and are stilled wrapped in paper from the powder coater. I was planning on getting Koni inserts but am now considering other options.
This is a perfect option for those who don't have the tools to cut your own struts apart and want that factory finish of an OEM Koni strut. This will also work with 2004 STI cars as well according to IWSTI.com forums.

I am open to offers...the box of powder coat cost me about $20-25, the powdercoater charged me $125 to do the job, the used struts cost me $80 from a local, not to mention the dremel cutting wheels and my time to do it.
Whomever buys these: all you need to do is get the Koni inserts, bolt them in these housings, and install them on your car, plus you have your OEM stockers to go back to later on.
I'm interested, but I'm not 100% sure if the strut/shock bodies are exactly the same on my 06. I'm not sure if WRX shocks have been updated since 04. They sound sweet, and look pretty nice.
I know that the inserts are pretty expensive, not sure how much exactly. Gotta put that into the equation + some new lowering springs(not necessary but should be done for performance and looks). Gotta determine if the total cost will be worth it, or if a person would be better off getting coilovers.

2004-06 WRX are the same:
The main point of consideration is whether you have a wagon or sedan as it affects the camber slightly as the WRX sedan track is slightly wider. From what I understand camber bolts can correct that to some degree.
