What up everyone?! I just moved to the Sacramento area (near Yuba City) and I am trying to find a good place to get my WRX parts from and get my ride worked on. I am from the Phoenix/Tucson area and we have awesome shops that specialize in Subaru tuning like DynoComp and Vivid Racing. Is there anything like that out here? Anywhere with an AWD dyno/tuning capability?
Also, is is there any kinda of Subaru Clubs or Groups that meet up around here?
So far i have only seen like maybe 3 WRX/STI's around here...
I asked the guys at the Subaru Dealer in Sac and they said that there is only 1 or 2 places in the area that either do awd dyno or AP tuning(if you have one that is). Other than that I think Davis is the closest place there is......though I do know a shop in Santa Rosa but that is a bit longer of a drive than Davis.
Also only seen a few STi/WRX out here. One at Exec airport and another round town but they're both black(lucky me). Most Rex's near Tahoe ######. Maybe should check up there fer a shop?

DBTUNED is a great shop. Paul is the owner and he worked on my STI a few times including tuning it. He has a awd dyno. I have heard nothing but good thing about dbtuned. He is a real straight forward guy. He wont sell you crap. only good stuff that will actually do stuff for your car. check it out.
If your looking for a good shop in Sacramento i would recommend Subaru Specialists. I have know this guy for 14 years. He has an all wheel dyno and can pretty much do anything you are looking to do on your wrx. His name is joe and you can get his number on www.subaruspecialsts.com I see that you are also looking for a place to meet up at. I am also and i dont know any around. i just started going to db tuned paul is an awsome guy wont sell you crap at all he is a good guy. he also has awd dyno. wow just found the sacramento forums!! this is sick to actually know what places people are talking about.

I wouldnt mind making the hike up to sac for a subie meet, I used to go to the sacforcefed meets, they had alot of subys. Im down in dixon so i dont go up there as often anymore with the gas the way it is.

For all you looking for places to meet, have you all tried the NASIOC.COM threads? There are a bunch of people from up here. Go to the bay area impreza club section and look for sac meets. I'm pretty sure they have them there...
Also, I can finally find somewhere to get my car tuned!!! I'm way up in willows, which is about an hour and twenty minutes north of sac, so we have jack up this way. I didn't realize there were that many shops down there.

DB TUNED is the best shop for anything wrx/sti in the area paul is a great guy and a great mechanic i dropped my car and a tranny off at his shop at 7 o'clock at night and he had it done at 12:00pm the next day for cheaper then i could get anybody in the 100 mile radius to do it hes the only subaru specialist i would trust on my car has worked on mine and all my friends cars no ones ever unhappy with his work or price DBTUNED is the only place to go
