i got pulled over...and i asked him if he had a Db meter and he was like no and i was like well then you cant ticket me and he was like yea.... you can go. then right before i left he was like btw sweet car.

just dont get on it around cops and they shouldnt hassle you.


btw i have the ebay TBE and it sounds super good. i like it but it kinda sounds like its underwater if you get what i mean? i like the idle but i wish it was a little louder and meaner sounding at WOT.

Magnaflow has some sound clips on there web page. It says it is really for the 2.5 STI or a tuned 2.0L , so I am figuring I will have no problems on my 07 with some mods.

Mine is a n1 exhaust it pretty loud but thats the way I like it plus I love the angle out!

i had the other ebay exhaust and they are basically all the same. sounds good. nice and deep and not super super loud but def louder than stock. the one i had wouldnt work with the stock dp. other than that i loved it.

I'm running a helix v3 dp w/ apexi gtspec catback and it's pretty loud. also w/ my headers and up-pipe I get stopped about 2-5 times a week by the fuzz.

you dont need to get an up pipe cause yours comes catless

i have the INVIDIA N1 turbo back straight catless with no resonator and it sounds great! its def. not as loud as the turboxs RFL( hence the name: Really F###ing Loud haha) or the blitz or G200, but it still sounds pretty loud and is super deep just like a suby should be i do occasionally get hassled by cops tho but just be sure to let up when you see them and cruise

and the only diff with the ti tip and non is the blue color on the end of the muffler.

I have the Cobb cat back system. Its loud enough to where everyone knows what ya got, but not so loud to where your gonna get in trouble with it. Plus is doesnt have that raspy sound that a lot of after market exhausts have. Also, if you plan on getting the Cobb access point, it's the only exhaust that is designed to work with it.
