vf34 with P20, any info?

G'day everyone,

Has anyone got or know of any1 that has a vf34 with P20 housing on a 2.5 litre??

A mate has the set up on a 2litre and it seems to go alright, but it would probably be a better set up on a 2.5? (am i just stating the obvious)

I already have a standard VF34 and thinking p20 housing might be cheaper than a new turbo.
im fond of the vf34 but hate how it dies in the arse.

Cheers.

Seen a couple people do this but IHI turbo parts are hard to come by and expensive compared to MHI.Plus the VF34 compressor is kinda tiny for a 2.5L.An 8cm TD05H-18G or 7cm TD06-18g would pack way more of a midrange and topend punch with very quick spool.

Cheers dumdum.

Yeah i started looking at the TD06's, but with the Australian dollar down a lot i was looking at what other options might be out there. At this stage am thinkin of savin my pennys for a TD06 18 or an AVO400L.
I don't want a lot of lag, if i wanted all top end i would go an buy a V8, but than that wouldn't be fun.

hi, first post. i have this turbo on my EJ18. an 18G or 20G is what you'd want. VF34's are better off for 2.0L engines or smaller.

Course, it's an NA motor. Not really something you'd want to turbo let alone something large like a VF34
