Question Uppipe or Downpipe???

Just wondering, i have a magna flow cat back and was wondering if you'll gain more ponies after installing an uppipe?

the only reason to replace the uppipe is to remove the cat. and the 06+ came catless so theres no need for the uppipe.

best thing would be a cobb AP and then the down pipe otherwise weird shit can happen.

army you cant get a protune without an AP. you can get reflashed but not a protune.

the AP isnt overpriced you can get a v1 on ebay for like 400 bucks and then you get a protune for your car that uses the AP....

no your wrong. protuner is the program cobb produced for the AP thus a protune is for AP users only. opensource is a reflash...

a protune is taking your car to a shop with a dyno and having them remap your ecu....cobb has a program but its not the only way to tune your car....

a protune is a term coined by cobb using their PROTUNER software.

your talking about a reflash/tune sometimes mistakenly called a protune. ask most anyone and they will agree.

im not saying cobb is the only way but it is much simpler for people unlike you and I who dont have the time/drive/care enough to figure out opensource.

i agree opensource is a better option but to some the AP is just much easier.
