Turbo upgrade help.... need imput.

Ok, here is my current mods list:

TurboXS Short Ram intake
Helix Catless Downpipe
Magnaflow DP Back
TurboXS Utec Delta EM
TurboXS TMIC
Apexi Cold Air Box
Cry02 Intercooler Sprayer
Ingals Torque Bar
TurboXS Air Flow Deflector
TurboXS Catch Can
SPT Turbo Heat Shield
DCSports Headder

I am running 13.2's on this list, and I am not tuned for the TMIC or the Headder.

I want to upgrade my turbo. What is the stock turbo on the 07 TR's?

My second question is should I upgrade to a VF39 or a VF43? I want to buy a new turbo and plan on having my car tuned right after the install. But I dont want to go so big I need new fuel injectors or pump. I drag race most of the time, but am getting into AUTO X or road racing. What should I do.....

Also looking at VF22, but I think I need fuel upgrades for that.

you could do 16g and be alright with your injectors. any time you upgrade the turbo though i would reccomend upgrading the injectors.

I was told the stock 07 injectors are the same on the WRX TR and the WRX STI or Limited, as well as the fuel pump, so I would think that the VF39 or VF43 should be fine.

the stock turbo is the same: td04-13t

wrxkid is right, you can run up to a 16g with your injectors. that includes vf39/43 since they're smaller. However, I think you'd need to upgrade your fuel pump.

That was the answer I was looking for. I planned on upgrading the pump, but I wanted to make sure I totally had to before I did it.
