I run a 5 speed, stock 03 to be exact, sans clutch of course.

I was referring to when the Evo MR folks blow their 6-spds up, they swap to a 5-spd.

Oil Starvation and little golden flakes of bearings pretty much roasted and damaged the center compressor. I would've had to turn the car off as soon as I heard the pop sound to have caught it in time and never turned it back on until the bearings were changed. Probably could've saved the rods at that point too. I'm too stupid for that. Installed a new drain plug and filled it back up with oil. Then the bearings let go when I was up at the rally race in Wellsboro, PA.

Side note: Essentially the same compressor wheel that I am getting; was put inside a EVO turbo and it put down over 500whp already at my tuner's. So, it'll be interesting to see what my little flat 4 does. Seeing as how its not as easily massaged as the EVO straight 4.
