I think I know what you are talking about, but you need to plug it in. I bought a Ebay inlet pipe and had to cut a part off of the stock inlet because the fitting on the new one was no the right size. That might be of some help.
If you can take a picture.What inlet pipe(Perrin,Samco...) and did it come with instructions?Did you reconnect the vaccum line that is right after the MAF pipe?It goes to the BCS.I think the "sensor" your talking about might be the evap solenoid that on older WRX's was mounted on the front of intake manifold just right of the inlet pipe.Some of the intlets require you to T off a couple of the vac lines.
ok i have a dyno tune reflash done car was great installed turboinlet pipe no boost over 8psi.
I justed looked at the turbo restrictor pill it was gone replaced with a pice of vac line. Did the tuner remove this for a reason? my tune boost was 18 psi. Do i need the restrictor pill or did the tecs remove or lose it during inlet pipe install?
ok it was the pill one of the tecs there riped the hose and replaced it with just a some old hose and never told anyone. We found the old one in the tool box he was useing. Well back to 17 psi and 282hp . next mod is more tuning and the gm boost noid + a new sube clutch this one is shot out and will not hold WOT after 3 gear. anyone think i should take a new tmic from my shop or wait till i get a bigger turbo. current mods spt intake muffler and a downpipe + dyno reflash made 282-290hp. Any other mods i should do???? All ideas welcome Thankyou for all the help
