Totally worth it...weight reduction!!! Its mainly for noise but combined with a high flow filter maybe you can get +1whp

hmm well i just bought a K&N drop in filter. Because I read somewhere in this forum it's good for stock car like mine. So many when i put that on I'll try taking off the silencer... hehe

heh you know what when i bought me 1st wrx ... it felt it went slower every week! so much that i sold it! but then someone said it was probably just me.

You guys need to catch the modding bug. I remember when my K&N was a big deal. Here I am 350hp and thousands of dollars later...

when i first was buying my car, i said, exhaust and intake only. i did exhaust, realized intake was bad..... and then started planing allll the stuff i wanted, its the mod fever, damn you aftermarket companies!!!!!! love you guys too, lol love modding, tons of fun

I do believe you need to give the ECU time to re-learn.

I know it took my car some time to learn Stage 2- and any other time I had to reset the computer or pull power off the battery- but that might also just be the third gens....
