Tmic swap??

Hey everyone I'm new to subarus. I had 2 srt4s but sick of them now. I just picked up a 06 blue wrx and I want to put a bigger intercooler on. Will a sti intercooler off a 05 sti fit on a wrx 06? Is it a direct swap or do I need anything special for bolting it on or just in general? Thanks guys.

It will fit, btu you really wont get much out of it by just bolting it on. If you were tuned for it you would get a slight increase in power, but IMHO nothing that great unless you have some other mods to accompany it.

What's a good price for stock sti tmic. Plus I'm not interested in to much power just a little more maybe 30-40 hp more.
