Its definetly nice, but not really cheap, especially starting out. I have check it out also, just letting you know what will help since you are kind of short on funds.

Coilovers are mainly used for cars that are running at the track. If you want a nice suspension, get some front and rear sway bars with somekind of performance(metal) endlinks. For the power part, go with somekind of EM, Cobb's AP is pretty great. Since you have a low budget, you can get a nice bellmouth downpipe and keep your stock catback exhaust, those 2 mods put you at stage 2 and it is a very noticeable gain that i think youll enjoy. You said you like to drive and shift hard, so im gonna throw this out here: shifting two hard can break gears which are very expensive. You can shift fast without shifting hard. I understand that your on a low budget(im 18 and in high school as well) but make sure you save money and do it the right way. Sorry it was so long, but hopefully its helpful. Enjoy the car man.
