Sun Pro Boost Guages

I picked up a set of Sun Pro Guages. They include the boost, oil psi, and volt guages. Came with the pod too...Got it all for around $40 shipped....figured that wasn't too shabby. I know there are better guages out there, but not without a price. Picked these up off of NASIOC.

Keep in mind that a gauge not reading correctly is a useless gauge. At $40 you got a good price on a pillar pod. I'd toss the gauges.

If my mechanic says they are working properly when he puts them in, I will just leave them in until I can afford better ones.

They may work. My point was the issue of accuracy. Don't expect much from gauges that cost $10-15 each at Autozone. I wouldn't bother spending the money to hook them up.

I really want the autometer gauges, but can't afford. What would be a good, affordable set I can buy, until I can afford more?

Well, base Autometers aren't all to wonderful either. Some of their higher end gauges work well.

For the time being I would just find a good boost gauge.
