Subaru specialty tools?

So, my company gives me a tool allowance every year and I am pretty much stocked up. This year I want to get some specialty tools for the wrx. Heres the catch, I cant buy online. I have to buy from one of the tool trucks (matco, mac, snap on, or cornwell) or a local place like northren, home depot, lowes, sears, or harbor freight.

I am especially interested in a cam lock tool for when my timing belt service comes. I see many of the universal ones on the trucks but, none that are Subaru specific. Can anyone confirm one of these universal ones to work well on our engines?

I also am looking for stuff like no spill funnels, crank tool, 13mm square drive rear diff socket and whatever else might be useful in the future. Links, pics, and part numbers will be very helpfull. I already have the torx socket for the trans and a oil filter socket. Thanks in advance!

Wasnt sure what forum to put this in so, if its wrong please move.

Adair,

My Subaru auto tech says to bring the Subaru p/n to your mobile tool supplier as a reference.

I'm sure they all have a copycat example.

Well, all I could find was a set of 2 cam gear wrenches on the snap-on truck. I don't see myself needing them anytime soon so, I didn't get them. I did however order a subaru oil filter socket off the cornwell truck, an assenmacher threaded oil funnel from matco, and one of those fancy no spill coolant funnels that greatly reduces the chance of trapped air. Ill post pics once they all come in. I guess ill just have to bite the bullet and buy the company 23 cam lock tool. I have been thinking about trying to make my own though. The tool trucks had several universal ones but, I was iffy on those. Anyway, I think it would be a good idea to keep this thread open to anyone who wants to share the tools that makes their subaru service easier.

We're pulling my EJ205 this weekend, so I had the service manual handy.
