i took the silencer of my car today and it sounds like my turbo is making noise, low rpm in fourth gear and then just wot and its makes noise after boost builds it goes away. also when it makes the noise and u let of the gas its a bang or clunk is that just the throttle plate closing. never heard any noise before. also do they make rebuild kits for the vf 22

so is there anyone out there that can give me sum in put on the noise im hearing from the turbo please and wether or not i can get a rebuild kit for a vf 22

Have you tried to search for a rebuild kit? Try google out, its a nice way to search for all kinds of stuff.

http://www.majesticturbo.com/ those people specialize in rebuilding turbos and they're awesome too. id give them a call and ask those guys. they are very good at what they do.

IHI turbos (VF series) are NOT rebuildable.

i thought it was just ball bearing turbos that aren't rebuildable

XXtuning near hartford, ct. They are probably the best in ct, but im not sure about mass. But it should be within 2 hrs.
