Stock 05 STi turbo swap...?

Hey every one, I'm pretty certain the VF39's a really quick spooling turbo. But I'm a torque nut so I was wondering if it was possible to swap out the VF39 for a S16G for quick spoolup and still run the Stock EM at stock boost levels since from what I've read and heard their flow characterstics are almost similar but the TD05 spools faster... Am I correct or is this a misconception?

No mods so far, the car is 100% Stock at the moment besides the crappy BOV the previous owner put on it.

any help would be great

you cannot change turbos without re-tuning the car. Yes, you could run that turbo on the stock IC and fuel system but you'd still need to be re-tuned. It might run, but it wouldn't actually improve anything without a retune and would likely give you all kinds of problems.

2015 STi: Still Stock
04 STi, 04 WRX: SOLD
