STi IC Sprayer

Hey STi owners, where does the IC sprayer get it's fluid from? Does it spray washer fluid onto the IC? I have looked at pics of under the hood and cannot see a seperate reservoir for the sprayer (NA Auto Show STi was locked and I couldn't look !Cry! )

Thanks guys

John

geez it goes that far! I'm gonna have to find a different solution. I can't lose my wiper washers here in MI. I'd get killed in the winter.

Any ideas some ingenius guy has come up with?

Friend of mine setup his nitrous to purge into the intercooler. He doesn't use it when moving, but before the start of a drag he'll purge the nitrous which cools the IC something drastic. He set it up buy ringing the top of the IC with braided brake line and then poked little pin holes every inch around the line. The end result is a nice cloud of frozen gas coating the whole IC just before he launches. This does wonders towards canceling out the heat rising onto IC from the engine.
