sti BOV?

I got a quick question, are the Bypass valves on the 06 wrx the same as the STi, for some reason stock for stock the sti bypass sounds louder anyone know why?

STi runs slightly higher boost from the factory, doubt the 1 psi or whatever it is is enough to effect sounds that much.

Not sure but I think the WRX is running 13LBS of boost where the STI is running around 16 LBS.

Thats dependent on the year of the car also, to how much boost its running.

they're the same. the jdm bpv however is rated to hold around 25lbs of boost.

The later modles 02 to 05 ran with 13LBS but in 06 they cut it down to 11LBS, thats just for the WRX, I don't know for the STI
