So i'm about to go stage 2 and have been warned by two people that the stock 2006 injectors may not be able to handle the extra fuel load. Has anyone had any problems with these and what are some good options for upgrades?
Also i have having a protune done, should this be covered in that tune?
That doesn't sound right. What's your setup? The 2.0L barely maxes out the stock 440s and the 2.5L only uses slightly more fuel while the injectors' peak flow is 25% again that of the 440s.
Im with Paul, on 92 OCT I was able to max out my injectors with just a DP and a rather agressive tune. I just wanted to see what I could pull, and then went back down to a more peace of mind tune at the time.
But, as an FYI, the new Cobb maps for 02-05 do "max out" the injectors. I was at 100% IDC with the old Stage 2 map, and with the new map they are at 110%. The new map sees about .5lb more boost and it kicks in a little earlier too when I graph the two runs together.
