SPT if you want to keep your warranty.

K&N if you don't care.

I did the K & N drop in & silencer removal & it was cool! However, there is a major sound difference in aftermarket intake systems depending on brand, Perrin is loud. Glad I got one...... louder is better

You`ll be happier "sound wise" with a short ram!! But there`s the warranty???

Neither does the K&N drop in filter. Use the K&N filter and the stock airbox, you'll be fine with that for a while. If you want a short ram, just make sure that you get one that has a heatshield. Both the K&N and the SPT are sold in this configuration. Neither one is going to perform significantly better than the other, so it's going to be personal preference at this point.

I have the Perrin drop-in filter in my car and copped it for $26 on ebay. I also have a K&N short ram if you're interested.

My car is well, it's like 10 lbs of shit in a 5 lb bag...

It depends on what you are trying to do with the car in the long run. If you want to get big power you need an intake. If you are not doing anything more than a mild turbo upgrade, a drop in is more than enough.

Just to clear it up, stock airbox is good up to 350bhp, not 350whp.

To be honest...my OPINION...dont take it meanly. But a Short Ram is worthless....Just get a K&N Filter....Short Ram vs Stock isnt goin to be a big difference...if you want to be noticed by cops more go with Short Ram....

Some people drive smart and try to be silent also....gettin good gains also!

Just thought throw my 2 pennies in!

Whatev you get though is better than nothing

Create headers

Anyone makin headers for the new 06-07?

Actually its CHP or BHP.The stock box is good for about 275whp @ a generous 20% drivetrain reduction.
